Chili Bean Dip Recipe

Ingredients :

16-ounce can beans

lemon

commercially prepared salsa

cumin

pickled jalapeno (optional)

Cilantro leaves   (optional)

Method :
  1. Dump the beans into a strainer or colander and rinse and drain.
  2. Place drained beans in a food processor or blender.
  3. Place the strainer over the food processor bowl and squeeze the juice of the lemon into the beans, discarding the rest of the lemon.
  4. If using cilantro, rinse it and pick a handful of leaves off the stems.
  5. Remove the strainer and add the remaining ingredients to the food processor.
  6. Pulse until smooth.

Serves 4 - 6
