Zinfandel Granite Recipes

Ingredients :

3/4 cup water

3/4 cup sugar

juice of 3 oranges

juice of 3 lemons

2 tbsp cassis

1 bottle gold California Zinfandel

Method :

Place the water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Mix 1 cup of the sugar syrup, the juices, the cassis, and wine in a bowl. Pour into a shallow container and place in the freezer. Freeze over-night. When ready to serve, use a fork to scrape the surface of the granite to form large crystals.
