Cucur Udang (Shrimp) Recipes

Ingredients :

wheat flour

corn flour

bean sprouts

carrot, sliced thinly

medium sized prawns

pieces curry leaves, shredded

red chilies, blended with 1 cup water

egg

large onion, sliced thinly

baking powder

salt to taste

Method :

Combine egg, red chilies, wheat flour and corn flour in a bowl. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well. Heat 1 liter oil in a wok over medium fire and deep-fry heaped teaspoonful of the mixture until golden brown. Serve with tomato or chili sauce.

Udang (Malay word) = Prawn / Shrimp
