Clean the
soaked dhall and grind coarsely. Deshelled and chop shrimps. Mix all
ingredients thoroughly including eggs and curry leaves but do not mix in
flour. Leave the thick batter for 30 minutes. Using a piece of banana
leaf, put a spoonful of mixture and shape it into a round ball and
flattened it a little. While do it, rub a little bit of flour on your
hands.
Roll the
flattened dough over the flour. Heat oil in deep frying pan. Deep fry Dhall Fritters (Masalvade) over medium heat until golden brown. Drain excess oil.
