Ingredients :
500 g
prunes
a pieces of cinnamon or orange rind
cold water
custard or whipped cream for topping
Method :
Put the prunes in a saucepan, cinnamon or orange rind and cover with water. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 1 hour until soft. Spoon prunes with juice into individual dessert bowls, top with custard or whipped cream and serve hot or cold.
