Method :
- Preheat oven to 180C, grease and flour
2 baking trays.
- Combine almonds, peel and flour; set
aside.
- In a heavy-based pan, combine butter,
cream and sugar.
- Heat to boiling, remove from heat and
stir in fruit-nut mixture.
- Place tablespoonfuls of batter at
least 8cm apart on prepared trays.
- Bake for 10 minutes until golden
brown.
- Cool on tray before removing to wire
racks to cool completely.
- Brush melted chocolate over base of
biscuit.
- When nearly set, mark chocolate with
wavy lines using a fork.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
