Lavender Biscuits Recipes

Ingredients :

90g unsalted butter - room temperature

40g icing sugar

110g low gluten flour

1/8 tsp salt

1 tsp dried lavender

Icing

50g icing sugar

1 1/2 tsp water

multi colored candy bits - garnishes

Method :

Beat butter until creamy. Add icing sugar gradually and beat until pale yellow. Add sieved flour mixture and chopped lavender. Knead into dough. Flatten with your palm and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 190C for about 15 minutes. Grease a baking tray and set aside. Take out the dough. Roll it to a thickness of 3mm with a rolling pin. Cut out cookies with your favorite cutters. Arrange cookies on a baking tray. Bake in an oven for about 10-15 minutes (depending on the size of cookies). Take out the cookies and leave them to cool on rack. Stir the icing mixture well. Brush icing on the cookies thinly. Sprinkle multi colored candy bits on top. Serve immediately.
