Method :

Heat the oven to 170oC (325oF),
Gas 3.
- Flour a baking tray.
- Mix together the flour and salt and
stir in the rolled oats.
- Rub in the margarine and knead in the
mashed potato.
- Knead until firm and smooth.
- Roll out on a lightly floured surface
to about 3 mm thickness and cut into 7.5 cm rounds with a biscuit
cutter.
- Place the rounds on the baking tray
and bake for 15-20 minutes, until crisp but not brown.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Serving Suggestion :
These biscuits go well with cheese or
soup, instead of bread.
Makes about 36 biscuits

40 Calories, 2 g fat, 0.5 g fiber.
