Caramel Sesame Bananas Recipes

Ingredients :

2 tablespoons

bananas

sugar

sesame seeds

lemon juice

mint sprigs and lemon slices, to decorate

Method :
  1. Peel sugar and 55 ml water in a saucepan and heat gently, stirring, until sugar dissolves.

  2. Bring to the boil and cook for 5-6 minutes or until mixture caramelizes and turns golden brown.

  3. Drain bananas well and arrange on non-stick parchment.

  4. Drizzle caramel over bananas, working quickly as caramel sets within a few seconds.

  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  6. Leave to cool for 5 minutes, then carefully peel away from paper, decorate and serve.

Serve 4

Note: Tossing banana in lemon juice prevents it from turning brown.
