Method :
- Sieve the flours with baking
powder and salt and add cayenne.
- Any bran remaining in the sifter
should be tipped in as well.
- Cut in cheese and mix to a soft
dough with the milk.
- Turn on to a floured board, pat
into shape about 2 cm thick and cut into scone shapes.
- Place on a cold floured baking
sheet and bake for 10 minutes at high heat reducing for the last 5
minutes of cooking.
Oven - 450F for 10 minutes reducing to
400F
