Pumpkin Scones Recipes

Ingredients :

60gm

1/4 cup

1 cup

400gm

1 tsp

1/3 cup

regular salted butter

caster sugar

egg

golden syrup

cooked mashed pumpkin

self-raising flour

grated orange rind

soda

Method :

  1. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

  2. Add egg and golden syrup and beat until combined.

  3. Fold in pumpkin, orange rind and half the flour.

  4. Stir in the rest of the flour with enough soda to form a soft sticky dough.

  5. Place dough on a lightly floured board and roll out to approximately 2cm thick.

  6. Cut into 5cm rounds and place on a lightly greased pan.

  7. Bake at 200C for 20 minutes.

  8. Serve warm with butter.
