Method :

Heat the oven to 200oC (400oF),
Gas 6.
- Grease 12 deep bun tins or paper
baking cases.
- Mix together the flour, salt and
sugar.
- Rub in the margarine until the mixture
resembles find bread crumbs.
- Add the raisins, All Bran and
hazelnuts.
- Beat in the egg and enough milk to
make a soft dropping consistency.
- Spoon into the tins or cases on a
baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes, until well risen and springy.
- Leave to cool slightly before turning
out.
- Serve warm, or very fresh.
Makes 12 buns
