Cinnamon Honey Cake Recipes

Ingredients :

Lemon Icing

brown sugar

honey

self-raising flour, sifted

cinnamon

egg

butter, softened

milk

 

icing sugar, sifted

butter, softened

lemon juice

rind of 1 lemon

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 180C and grease a 20cm sandwich cake tin.

  2. Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat well for 4-5 minutes until smooth.

  3. Pour into prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes until cooked.

  4. Ice when cool with lemon icing and sprinkle with lemon rind.

  5. To prepare icing: combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.

  6. If mixture is too thick, thin with a little hot water.

Makes 1 cake
