Pineapple Slices Recipes

drained, canned crushed pineapple

ground hazelnuts

drained, canned crushed pineapple

Method :

Preheat oven to 180C.

Grease a 30x25cm baking tin and line
with baking paper.

In a large bowl, combine carrots, oil,
honey, eggs and pineapple.

Mix well, sift together flour,
hazelnuts and spice three times.

Add roughage left in sifter.

Stir into carrot mixture with a wooden
spoon until blended.

Turn batter into prepared tin,
spreading evenly.

Bake 30-35 minutes until a skewer
inserted in the centre comes out clean.

Briefly cool in tin, turn out onto a
wire rack and cool completely.

To prepare topping: in a bowl use an
electric mixer to beat cream cheese, pineapple and honey.

Spread over top of cake.

Chill until needed.

Cut into slices to serve.
Makes 20 slices
