Three Flavor Butter Cake Recipes

self-raising flour, sifted twice

evaporated creamer

coffee paste or coffee essence

caster sugar

eggs, use 7 whites

cake stabilizer

rose essence

vanilla essence

cochineal color

Method :
  1. Preheat over to 1800c.

  2. Grease and line a 24cm round baking tin.

  3. Beat butter till white and fluffy.

  4. In another mixing bowl, whisk eggs, sugar and cake stabilizer until mixture turns creamy white.

  5. Add in flour, butter and evaporated creamer and stir till well mixed.

  6. Divide mixture into 3 portions, add in coffee paste to one portion; cochineal and rose essence to the second portion; and vanilla to the third.

  7. Spread vanilla portion to the prepared baking tin, followed by the cochineal and rose and finally, coffee paste portion.

  8. Bake cake for an hour.

  9. Remove and cool cake for 20 minutes before cutting.
