Chocolate Fudge Torte Recipes

caster sugar
eggs, separated
dark chocolate, melted
brandy
ground almonds
fresh white breadcrumbs
dark Toblerone, melted
dark corn syrup
melted butter
cream |
Method :

Beat butter and sugar together until
pale and creamy.

Beat in the egg yolks, one at a time.

Beat in melted chocolate and brandy,
fold in the ground almonds and breadcrumbs, mix well.

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.

Fold into chocolate mixture in 2
batches.

Pour into a greased, paper lined and
flour-dusted, 23cm spring form pan.

Bake at 180C for 30-35 minutes.

Turn out onto a wire rack to cool.

Combine Toblerone, corn syrup, butter
and cream in a small saucepan over low heat, stir until combined.

Spread over cooled cake.
