Chocolate Pecan Torte Recipes

egg whites
caster sugar
cocoa, sifted
chopped pecan nuts
dark chocolate, grated
thickened cream, whipped
extra pecan nuts to decorate |
Method :

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.

Gradually add sugar, beat for a
further 5 minutes until mixture is thick and glossy.

Fold in cocoa, pecan nuts and grated
chocolate, spread mixture into a greased, foil-lined and greased,
22cm spring form pan.

Bake at 160C for 45 minutes.

Leave cake to cool in pan.

Decorate torte with whipped cream and
extra pecan nuts.
Serves 7-9
