Chocolate Sienna Cake Recipes

Ingredients :

chopped macadamia nuts

chopped walnuts

chopped almonds

pitted and chopped dates

sultanas

desiccated coconut

plain flour

cocoa

icing sugar

milk chocolate, grated

butter

apricot jam

Method :
  1. Combine nuts, dates, sultanas, coconut, flour, cocoa and icing sugar in a large bowl; set aside.

  2. Stir chocolate, butter and jam together in a medium saucepan over low heat until melted, mix well.

  3. Pour mixture into fruit mixture, mix well with a metal spoon.

  4. Spoon mixture into a 23cm greased and lined flan dish, pushing into corners with spoon.

  5. Bake at 180C for 35 minutes.
