2 sachets of Equal or artificial sweetener
equivalent to 4 tsp of sugar
Method :
Wash rice and
place in saucepan, cover with the water, and simmer over very low heat
until water is absorbed. Add 1 cup milk. Simmer again until absorbed.
Add the remaining 1 1/2 cups milk and cook again until the milk is
absorbed. Stir in sultanas, nutmeg, vanilla and sweetener (to taste).
Serve warm with sliced stewed or fresh fruit.
To store -
cover and refrigerator for up to three days.
