Combine milk,
rice and sugar. Place mixture in baking dish. Cover and bake for 45
minutes. Remove from oven, add dried fruit and stir. Leave uncovered and
return to oven. Cook for another 45-60 minutes until rice is cooked. A
skin will form on top of rice. Serve hot or cold, garnished with ground
nutmeg or cinnamon.
To store -
cover and refrigerate or up to three days.
