3 sachets Equal or artificial sweetener
equivalent to 6 tsp sugar
chopped dates or fresh strawberries
Method :
Beat egg
yolks, and combine them in a saucepan with milk, cocoa and coffee. Mix
until smooth. Stirring constantly, warm the mixture over medium heat,
being careful not to boil. Remove from heat and cool. Sprinkle gelatine
over water and dissolve over hot water, or microwave on 'medium' for 10
seconds. Cool slightly. Stir into chocolate mixture. Add sweetener. Cool
until mixture begins to set around edges. Whip until thick and creamy.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold into chocolate mixture. Pour
into serving dishes. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve chilled and
garnish with chopped dates or strawberries.
This is
scrumptious dessert. Prepare it the day before you want to serve it
because it needs to set.
