Chocolate Snaps Recipes

Ingredients :

3 tbsp

90g

1/3 cup

1/2 cup

2 tsp

125g

golden syrup

butter

brown sugar

plain flour

cocoa

milk chocolate, melted

Method :
  1. Combine golden syrup, butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over moderate heat.

  2. Stir constantly without boiling until butter has melted.

  3. Stir in flour and cocoa.

  4. Drop 2 tsp of mixture about 15cm apart onto a greased oven tray.

  5. Bake only 4 snaps at a time.

  6. Bake at 180°C for 5 minutes.

  7. Stand snaps on tray for 1 minute; lift with a spatula and lay over a rolling pin and leave to cool.

  8. Drizzle melted chocolate over biscuits and serve.
