Chocolate Viennese Shortbreads Recipes

Ingredients :

250g

1/4 cup

1/2 tsp

2 tbsp

1.5 cups

1/3 cup

150g

butter

caster sugar

vanilla essence

cocoa

plain flour

cornflour

milk chocolate melts, melted

icing sugar to dust

Method :
  1. Beat butter and sugar together until light and creamy, add vanilla and cocoa, beat until well combined.

  2. Fold in sifted flours and spoon mixture into a large piping bag fitted with a large fluted pipe.

  3. Pipe mixture into shapes onto lightly greased baking trays.

  4. Bake at 180C for 12-15 minutes, cool on trays.

  5. Dip ends of each biscuit into melted chocolate and set aside to cool until chocolate is set.

  6. Dust with icing sugar.
