Method :

Combine sugar, gelatin, coffee powder,
and salt in saucepan.

Stir in 1.5 cups cold water; stir over
low heat till gelatin dissolves.

Remove from heat.

Add milk, cream and vanilla; mix well.

Pour mixture into 6-cup refrigerator
tray.

Cover and freeze till firm.
-
Remove to chilled mixer bowl; break
into chunks.

Beat till smooth but still mushy;
return to tray; cover and freeze till firm.
