Frozen Fruit Recipes

Ingredients :

8 strawberries, tops left on

20 purple grapes, preferably small

1/2 slice fresh ripe pineapple

2 kiwifruit

mint, ivy or strawberry leaves - garnish

Method :

Wash and dry strawberries and grapes. Cut pineapple into eight chunks. Peel kiwifruit and cut into four pieces. Place fruit on shallow dish and freeze for approximately two hours until firm. Transfer frozen fruit to glass serving plate, and allow to thaw for 10-15 minutes. Decorate with leaves. We have used fresh strawberries, grapes, pineapple and kiwifruit in this recipe, but you can use any selection of fresh fruit in season. You can also use frozen fruit to garnish drinks.
