Place icing sugar in a heatproof bowl.

Mix liquids together and add gradually
to icing sugar to form a smooth spreadable consistency.

Place bowl over a dish of boiling
water or heat over a pan of simmering water.

When icing becomes soft and runny with
a shiny appearance, remove from heat.

To coat a cake: place cake on a cake
rack cooler with the flat side placed underneath.

Pour warm icing over cake, using a
palette knife or spatula to guide it.

Allow the excess to drip off.

After icing starts to set, do not
touch it until set.
