Vermicelli Pudding Recipes

Ingredients :

10 cups

1 cup

10 tbsp

4 tbsp

1/2 cup

2 tbsp

milk

broken vermicelli

sugar

sultanas

almonds, blanched and silvered

drops rose essence

chopped pistachios

Method :
  1. Bring milk to the boil, stirring constantly.
  2. Add vermicelli and continue cooking until the vermicelli is soft.
  3. Add sugar, sultanas and almonds.
  4. Remove from fire, drop in the essence and spoon into individual dessert bowls.
  5. Serve warm or chilled, decorated with chopped pistachios.

Serves 6 - 8
