Place all
the filling ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce
heat to medium and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring
occasionally.

Remove
the saucepan from the heat and mash the beans slightly with a fork
or potato masher.

Cover to
keep warm and set aside.

Warm the
tortillas by placing one at a time in a dry skillet over medium
heat.

Warm for
about 1 minute, or just until the tortilla is heated.

Immediately remove the tortilla from the skillet, and lay it on a
flat surface.

Layer the
tortillas one on top of the other after they are warmed.

Cover the
tortillas with a clean tea towel to lock in the heat while the
remainder are warmed.

Spoon 1/4
of the bean mixture onto each of the tortillas, placing it in a
strip along one side, slightly off center.

Add your
favorite toppings, and roll the tortillas around the filling.
