Sliced Duck, Bacon and Mushroom Open Sandwich Recipes

Ingredients :



1/2 tsp

1 tsp

1/4 tsp




medium mushrooms, sliced

French mustard

orange marmalade

soy sauce

slice rye bread

rashers crisp cooked bacon

meat from half a roast duck, sliced

Method :
  1. Heat the butter in a frying pan over moderate heat, add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Remove with a slotted spoon.

  3. Combine mustard, marmalade and soy sauce.

  4. Spread bread with this mixture.

  5. Top with duck, mushrooms and bacon strips.

Makes 1 sandwich
