crusty loaf
small onion, thinly sliced
thin slices salami
thin slices leg ham
mozzarella cheese
large tomato, sliced
shredded lettuce
stuffed green olives, sliced
butter
salt and freshly ground black pepper |
Method :
-
Cut loaf in half lengthwise and
butter top and bottom.

Place bottom on a cutting board.
-
Fill with layers of onion, salami,
ham, mozzarella, tomato, lettuce and olives.

Season to taste with salt and
pepper.
-
Top with other half of loaf and
wrap in plastic wrap.
-
Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Cut into thick slices to serve.
Serves 2-4
