Baked Peaches with Almonds and Honey Recipes

Ingredients :

50g butter, extra for greasing

4 large ripe peaches, halved and stoned

50g flaked almonds

4 tbsp clear honey

little ground cinnamon

crème fraiche, to serve

Method :
  1. Butter a shallow baking dish, large enough to take 8 peach halves.

  2. Place the peaches in the baking dish, skin side down.

  3. Dot with butter, sprinkle with the almonds, drizzle with the honey and dust with cinnamon.

  4. Bake the peaches at the top of oven, 400F, gas mark 6, 10-15 minutes.

  5. You want to get a little color into the peaches and get the almonds lightly browned.

  6. Serve the peaches with the juices drizzled over and topped with a spoonful of crème fraiche.
