Cheese and Olive Tart Recipes

Ingredients :

pastry of your choice

1 large onion

30g butter

125g cheese, grated

2 eggs

1 cup cream or top milk

1/2 tsp salt


10 stuffed olives

Method :

Line a 23cm (9") tart plate with pastry. Place the chopped onion and butter in a covered pot and steam gently until soft. Spread onion on the pastry. Place cheese eggs, cream and seasonings in a bowl and whisk smartly. Pour over the onion and decorate with olives. Bake in hot oven and serve with torn lettuce side salad for memorable lunch.

Oven - 400F

Serves 4 - 6
