Buttered Crumbs Recipes

Ingredients :

25 g

575 ml

margarine

measure of whole meal breadcrumbs

Method :
  1. Melt the margarine in a frying pan, add the crumbs and remove the pan from the heat.

  2. Turn the crumbs over and until the fat is absorbed.

  3. Spread on baking trays and dry in the oven, turning occasionally, at 130oC (250oF), Gas 1/2 for about 1 hour, or until straw colored.

  4. Allow the crumbs to cool completely, then store in a lidded jar.

Per Serving : 25 g fat, 21 g fiber.
