Hot Buttered Rum Recipe

Place 2 teaspoons sugar, 1/2 cup (125ml / 4 fl oz) rum and 1 cup (250ml / 8 fl oz) boiling water in a heatproof jug. Stir to dissolve the sugar, then divide between 2 mugs. Stir 1-2 teaspoon unsalted butter into each mug and serve immediately.

Serves 2
