Hot Caramel and Vanilla Milk Shake Recipe

Slowly heat 2 cups (500ml / 16 fl oz) milk in a pan. Be careful not to boil the milk. Add 50g (1.75 oz) hard caramels, such as Columbines, and heat until melted, stirring occasionally. Place in a blender with 1-2 scoops vanilla ice cream, and process briefly until smooth. Pour the mixture into 2 tall glasses.
