Yellow Split Pea Cake Recipe

Ingredients :

1/2 cup

1/2 cup

1 cup

3 oz

1/4 cup

2 cups

corn flour

coconut juice

sugar

yellow split pea

fresh milk

water

Method :
  1. Wash yellow split pea.

  2. Cook in water for 20 minutes.

  3. Remove and drain well.

  4. Work 1/2 cup of water into corn flour and sugar.

  5. Mix to batter consistency.

  6. Stir in the remaining water and cook over low heat for 4 minutes.

  7. Keep stirring slowly.

  8. Add milk, coconut juice and yellow split pea to cooking mixture.

  9. Keep on stirring before it boils.

  10. Pour the batter into a moistened cake tray.

  11. Put into the refrigerator to chill.

  12. Ready to serve.
