Banana and Pear Whip Recipe

Ingredients :

2 bananas, peeled

2 pears, peeled and cored

2 tbsp lemon juice

250g ricotta cheese

4 tbsp low fat natural yoghurt

grated nutmeg

Method :
  1. Chop bananas and pears.

  2. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

  3. Place the fruit in a blender with ricotta cheese and yoghurt.

  4. Blend till smooth and creamy.

  5. Serve the Whip on the day of preparation.

  6. Spoon into individual bowls and chill for 1 hour.

  7. Before serving, dust with nutmeg and decorate with sliced fresh banana, sprinkled with lemon juice.

To vary - Swap banana for a large, ripe mango.
