Cashew Nut Sweet Soup Recipes

Ingredients :

150g cashew nuts

1/2 cup yellow granulated sugar

2 cups lukewarm water

1 1/2 cups water

Method :
  1. Wash cashew nuts. Then cook in boiling water for 3 minutes. Remove and drain.

  2. Heat wok. Add 1 cup of oil. Put in cashew nuts and turn to low heat. Deep fry until the cashew nuts become slightly golden. Then turn to high heat and deep fry for 1/2 minutes. Remove. Place on kitchen paper to cool. Crush.

  3. Put crushed cashew nuts into a blender. Add 2 cups of lukewarm water. Process until the mixture is smooth. Strain and discard residue.

  4. Bring yellow granulated sugar and 1 1/2 cups of water to the boil. Then turn to low heat. Stir in nut mixture slowly. Bring to the boil and serve.

Serves 4 - 6
