Ingredients for filling:

margarine

flour

milk powder

icing sugar

egg

 

sugar

eggs

evaporated milk

boiling water

To Prepare Egg Tarts Filling :

  1. Add sugar to boiling water, and stir until sugar dissolves.

  2. Beat eggs.

  3. Add sugar water a little at a time to egg mixture.

  4. Add evaporated milk and stir until well-blended.

  5. Lastly, strain mixture and set aside.

To Prepare Egg Tarts Pastry :

  1. Sift flour in a mixing bowl.

  2. Add margarine, milk powder, icing sugar and egg.

  3. Stir until well-combined and knead into soft dough.

  4. Place dough into tart moulds, then add filling.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes until lightly golden.
