Compote of Spiced Fruit Recipes

Ingredients :

100g dried prunes

100g dried apricots

100g dried figs

3 cloves

1 piece stick cinnamon

1 vanilla bean (optional) or substitute with 2 cardamoms

1 tbsp honey

cold water

Method :

Place all ingredients in saucepan and just cover with water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes. The compote is best cooked a few days beforehand so that the flavors blend.
