No-Rise Yeast
Rolls is a soft yeast dough that requires no rise and results in a very
tender bread. No-Rise Yeast Rolls doesn't work very well in a loaf pan
because of the lack of rising, but it makes excellent dinner rolls. The
heat of the oven makes the little rolls rise just enough - they won't be
as light as fully risen rolls, but they're still delicious served warm
and slathered with butter. Let them cool a bit before you slice them
open and butter them or they'll deflate.
No-Rise Yeast
Rolls bread is a little bit more work because you have to divide the
dough into balls by hand, but it's the fastest way we know to make
homemade yeast bread.
