Apple Crisp Recipes

Serves Eight

Ingredients :

6 cups sliced apples

2 tablespoon lemon juice

1/3 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

3 tablespoon Diet Parkay or Mazola margarine

1 tablespoon flour

1 cup Kellogg's Natural Bran Flakes

2 tablespoon wheat germ

Method :

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl

  2. Place mixture evenly in an 8x8 inch nonstick dish

  3. Cream margarine, blend in sugar and flour

  4. Stir in cereal and wheat germ

  5. Sprinkle over apple mixture

  6. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes

  7. Uncover and bake another 30 minutes or until apples are tender

  8. Serve warm
