Broiled Grapefruit Recipes

Method :

  1. Have 1 grapefruit at room temperature.

  2. Cut in half; then cut a thin slice from the bottom of each half to balance fruit.

  3. Cut around every section, close to membrane - fruit should be completely loosened from shell.

  4. Remove core from each half; dot with butter.

  5. Combine 1 tbsp sugar and 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon; sprinkle over grapefruit.

  6. Place on broiler rack or in shallow baking pan.

  7. Broil 4 inches from heat about 8 minutes or till heated through and bubbling.

  8. Garnish with maraschino cherries.

Serves 2
