Have 1 grapefruit at room temperature.

Cut in half; then cut a thin slice
from the bottom of each half to balance fruit.

Cut around every section, close to
membrane - fruit should be completely loosened from shell.

Remove core from each half; dot with
butter.

Combine 1 tbsp sugar and 1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon; sprinkle over grapefruit.

Place on broiler rack or in shallow
baking pan.

Broil 4 inches from heat about 8
minutes or till heated through and bubbling.

Garnish with maraschino cherries.
