Butto-Choc Banana Sundaes Recipe

Ingredients :

4 large bananas

a little lemon juice

50 g butter

40 g light brown soft sugar

50 g marshmallows

1 tbsp milk

1/2 liter chocolate ice cream

150 ml double cream, whipped

25 g walnuts, chopped

Method :
  1. Peel bananas and slice directly into 4 sundae dishes.

  2. Sprinkle with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.

  3. For sauce, put butter, sugar, marshmallows and milk into a saucepan.

  4. Stir over low heat until ingredients melt.

  5. Bring to boil and boil steadily for about 3-4 minute or until sauce starts to thicken.

  6. Top bananas with scoops or slices of ice cream, pile high with cream, coat with sauce and sprinkle with nuts.

  7. Serve straight away.

Note :

Sumptuous and rich, the butterscotch sauce contributes a new flavor to these Banana Sundaes - as does the chocolate ice cream.
