Method :
- Dissolve the sugar in the water in a
saucepan, and bring to the boil.
- Stir occasionally and boil for 5
minutes.
- Add the cranberries, cover the pan and
simmer gently until they have all popped.
- Remove the lid from the pan and
continue simmering for 5 minutes, until tender.
- You may add 1-2 tbsp port, and leave
to cool.
- Serve with roast turkey, lamb or game.
