Method :

Fry
the rice in 1 tablespoon of the oil for 2-3 minutes over moderate
heat, stirring.

Pour
on the boiling stock, stir , cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

Fry
the onion, garlic, celery, chopped pepper and mushrooms in the
remaining oil for 3 minutes, stirring once or twice.

Stir
this vegetable mixture into the rice with the nuts, dried fruit and
salt and pepper and heat through over low heat.

Just
before serving , stir in the black grapes.

Serve
with green salad.
