Ingredients :

1 tbsp
1 tsp
1/2 cup
2 tbsp
1/4 tsp
1/4 cup
8-ounce can fruit cocktail
sugar
butter or margarine
lemon juice
sifted all-purpose flour
baking powder
salt
milk
salad oil
ground cinnamon or nutmeg
Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan.
Bring to boil.
In small bowl, sift together dry ingredients.
Stir in milk and oil.
Drop in 2 portions onto boiling hot fruit.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon or nutmeg.
Cover; cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes.
Serve with light cream.
