Pineapple Romanoff Recipes

Ingredients :

225 g

100 g

150 ml

25 g

medium pineapple

strawberries, hulled

black grapes, seeded

sweet white wine

caster sugar, if needed

juice of 1 lemon

grated rind and juice of 1 orange

Method :
  1. Cut the pineapple in half through the centre of the leaves and fruit.

  2. Cut away the flesh, taking care not to pierce the skin.

  3. Put the shells in the refrigerator to chill.

  4. Discard the hard core of the pineapple and cut the flesh into cubes.

  5. Stir the pineapple, strawberries and grapes together.

  6. Mix the lemon juice, orange rind and juice, wine and sugar if needed and pour over the fruit.

  7. Stir, cover and chill.

  8. To serve, pile the fruit into the pineapple shells, making sure to show off some of the best strawberries and some grapes on the top.
