Plum and Almond Crisp Recipe

Ingredients :

50g butter

125g fresh white breadcrumbs

50g light soft brown sugar

50g flaked almonds

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

500g plums, stoned and lightly poached in 150ml water and 2 tbsp sugar

whipped cream, to serve

Method :
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Stir in the breadcrumbs, sugar, almonds, cinnamon.
  3. Put the plums in a pie dish, sprinkle the breadcrumbs mixture over the top.
  4. Bake in oven, 350F, gas mark 4, 30-35 minutes.
  5. Ready to serve cold with cream
