Rheumatoid Arthritis |
Characterized by the inflammation of the thin layer of tissue lining
the joint capsule.
Often
confused with Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis is actually a
more severe systematic disease involving the whole body. Rheumatoid
Arthritis commonly affects the symmetric joints (knees, thumbs, hips
etc). |
Most
prevalent form of inflammatory arthritis which is most common among
young women. |
Systematic Lupus Erythematosus |
Often
affects the internal organs, especially the kidney and even the
brain. Could be fatal |
Women of
child bearing age. |
